How to Create a Category?

Categories are essential for organizing your Playbooks. You must define these categories in the settings menu before you can assign them to any documents.

  1. Navigate to Settings: Click on Settings in the left-hand menu.
  2. Open Categories Tab: Select the Categories tab from the top menu options.
  3. Enter Category Name: Type a clear, descriptive name for the group (e.g., HR Policies, IT Support, Onboarding).
  4. Select an Icon: TeamHub integrates with the Lucide Icons library to provide high-quality visuals. Follow these steps to find the correct icon code:
    • Step A: Open a new browser tab and visit https://lucide.dev/icons/.
    • Step B: Search for an icon that fits your category (e.g., type “shield” for security).
    • Step C: Locate the specific icon name displayed below the icon (e.g., shield-check, briefcase, users).
    • Step D: Copy that exact text.
    • Step E: Return to TeamHub and paste the text into the Icon Name input box.
  5. Save: Click the Add Category button. Your new category is now ready to be used when creating Playbooks.
