How to Check Your Resume’s ATS Score

Ensure your resume gets past automated screening filters and reaches a human recruiter by using the ATS Checker.

  1. Navigate to ATS Checker: Click on the ATS Checker tab in the left-hand menu.
  2. Enter Data:
    • Resume Content: Copy and paste the full text of your resume into the designated box.
    • Job Description: Copy and paste the job description of the specific role you are targeting.
    • Why do this? The system needs the job description to compare your keywords against the employer’s specific requirements.
  3. Analyze: Click the Check Score button.
  4. Review Your Report: Within a few seconds, the system will generate a detailed analysis containing:
    • ATS Score: A numerical rating indicating how well your resume matches the job.
    • Improvement Suggestions: specific, actionable tips to increase your score.
    • Recruiter’s 6-Second View: A preview of the key information a human recruiter sees in their first quick scan.
